21 targets. No filler shots.
Expect:
• Known distances
• Technical lanes that demand precision
• Long shots pushing beyond 100 yards
• The always-talked-about marble shot

📊 SCORING
• 1 arrow per shooter, per target
• Both scores count
• Combined team total = your score
👉 Every arrow matters.
⚖️ HANDICAP (YOUTH & TRADITIONAL)
• Youth and traditional shooters receive a handicap adjustment
• Based on performance vs the field average
👉 Keeps it fair. Keeps it competitive.

This is where it gets real.
• Top 8 teams advance
• Seeded based on course scores
• Head-to-head, bracket style
• Lose and you’re out. Win and move on.
👉 One team leaves with it.
⚡ TIE BREAKERS
To Make Top 8
• Sudden death shoot-off at designated target
• One shooter → one arrow
• Highest score advances
If tied:
• Second teammate shoots
• Still tied? Step back and keep shooting until it’s settled
During Shootdown
Same format. No shortcuts.

🏹 EQUIPMENT
• Rangefinders: Allowed & recommended
• Stabilizers: Max 15 inches
• No magnification
🕒 EVENT SCHEDULE
• 8:30 AM – Check-in opens
• Coffee & donuts available (until gone)
• Novelty shots open
• 10:00 AM – Mandatory shooter meeting
• 10:30 AM – Shotgun start
👉 Shoot at your assigned target and rotate through the course.
🍻 AFTER THE COURSE
Once shooting wraps up:
• Food and drinks
• Hang out with other shooters
• Take a crack at novelty shots
• Get ready for the main event
🔥 SHOOTDOWN TIME
• Starts about 1 hour after the course finishes (~1:30 PM)
